
I am a writer and journalist in New York. My fiction has been in Heavy Traffic, The Point, Expat, and Hobart. My essays, criticism, and reporting have been in The New York Times, Harper's, The Paris Review, Bookforum, The Baffler, The New York Review of Architecture, The Times Literary Supplement, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and The Times of London. I previously wrote a film column for The New Statesman. I am the editor and publisher of a print literary magazine called The End and teach fiction writing at the Center for Fiction (sign up here).
